Now, you don’t need a green thumb to grow any of our Weird Seedpods. From the exotic to the unique, go on an organic journey with our Weird Seedpods.
Over the last few weeks I had introduced you to our Seedpod Range and Seedpod Kids Range which has you covered for all exotic herbs. Well now I want to introduce to you our Weird Seedpods.
Each Weird Seedpod kit contains a packet of fresh seeds, growing medium, gravel and instructions. The seed varieties have been specially selected to yield quick, reliable results and all you need to add is water. Choose from eight weird seed varieties, all fun and educational, and help promote healthy curiosity in unusual plants.
Okra, also known as “lady finger” or “gumbo”, is a highly nutritious green edible pod vegetable.
Kohlrabi is a nutrient-rich vegetable of Eastern European origin. In the German language, it means “cabbage turnip.” This aptly describes the family it came from–cabbage. It can be eaten raw, grilled or stir-fried. Regardless of how it is prepared, kohlrabi has numerous health benefits.
What about growing your own Loofa Sponge? I bet you didn’t think that was possible, but it now is!
The Mimosa Plant also known as a sensitive plant because of the way it folds its leaves when touched or exposed to heat will be a stunning addition to your garden.
The method behind the kits are simple. Just place the gravel into the bottom of the container, pop in the coir tablet, fill the pebble container cap with water and pour it over the coir tablet and watch the compost grow (you might need to fluff it up with a dining fork). Add the seeds on top and cover them with some of the compost.
Once your crop is well established, transfer to a larger pot and reuse the pebble container for something else! These kits make excellent and unusual gifts.
