The website says it's in stock, but is it really in stock?

Yes! If it says it's in stock, it really, honestly is in stock. We make a point to keep up with the latest gadget trends, and therefore maintain our stock levels to match those items that are most popular. Take note that items are available while stocks last. All stock is housed in our various warehouses ready to be sent off to you. The only time we recommend you contact us before ordering is if you intend to place an order for lots of one particular item.

How do I cancel a Pre-order?

You can email: info@yuppiegadgets.com or call us on 021 593 0000. Remember to quote your Order Number as your reference number.

Can I mix normal orders with pre-orders?

Checkout will only allow one Pre-Order item (of any Qty) per transaction. You can't unfortunately mix Pre-Orders with normal orders.

When do I get charged for a Pre-order?

Credit Card Pre-Orders are charged immediately.

If you're paying via EFT, you will need to payment must be made and cleared within 24 hours.

What is a Pre-Order?

Pre-orders allow you to place advance orders for items that have not yet been released. When you place the pre-order, we then order the item in advance from our suppliers.

My items haven't been delivered yet, what do I do?

Do not bite your nails just yet; we will try everything to get your new products to you in no time. If you have not received your order, feel free to contact our Customer Service Team by sending an email to info@yuppiegadgets.com or call them on 021 593 0000 and they will help you to locate your order. You are able to track the status of your order online by logging into your Yuppie Gadgets account.

Is there a way for me to view the product before I purchase it?

As Yuppie Gadgets is an online shop, there is no physical store customers can visit (as yet). Should you have any queries regarding our products you can contact our Customer Service Team and they will do their very best to describe the item as if you were holding it yourself.

How do I exchange my order?

You can do so by logging in to your Yuppie Gadgets Account and clicking your Order and then click on "Return". Complete all the information requested and submit. We will do our best to action this as quickly as possible. The product must be returned in it's original condition and original packaging.

What do I do when the item I want is out of stock?

We make a point to keep up with the latest product trends, and therefore maintain our stock levels to match those items that are most popular. Should a product be sold out, you can join the Waitlist on the product page. This will then enable us to automatically email you once the product is back in stock.

Will I be allowed to place an item on hold?

Unfortunately this is not an available option.

How do I know if you carry a certain brand?

All you have to do is enter the name of the brand in the search toolbar or select a brand from the drop down box on the right of your screen. Search results will present you with the available items from that brand. If the brand you are looking for is not there, send us your brand suggestion to info@yuppiegadgets.com and we will see what we can arrange.

Do you keep my Credit Card details?

You are safe, we do not store your credit card details.

Can can collect my order?

Yes, we now offer the option of Collection from our Cape Town Warehouse.

Please your order as normal and then select the Collection option instead of the give delivery options. Once we have received payment and processed you order we will then notify you as soon as your order is ready for collection.

If I order now, when will I receive my order?

Our dispatch cut-off time is 12h00 Mon-Fri. This means if you place your order at 11h59am Mon-Fri, we guarantee we'll dispatch it the same day, excluding Public Holidays.

Are my credit card details secure?

Absolutely! Our Credit Card submission pages are hosted on a secure server provided by PayU, South Africa's leading online payment service provider. Your payments will be safe and secure. Can I only pay with a credit card?

You are able to use any South African Visa, Mastercard Credit Cards, American Express and Diners Club.

We also accept EFT payments. When opting to pay with EFT (electronic funds transfer), an email will be sent with details on how to complete your EFT payment. Please make sure you use your Yuppie Gadgets order number as the reference number. Send proof of payment to info@yuppiegadgets.com. We can only accept official bank generated PDF proof of payment. Unfortunately copied text will not be accepted. Click here for more information.

Where are you based?

Our offices are in Cape Town, South Africa whilst we have warehouses located throughout the world.

Can I order by phone?

While we are always happy to hear from customers, our phone lines are for customer enquiries & support only. We are unable to accept orders by phone at present.

How do I return an order?

If we have delivered the wrong product, a faulty product, or if you received your order and it was not in one piece please log a return case. You can do so by simply logging into your Yuppie Gadgets account, click on your Order and then click on "Return" for the entire order or only some of the order products. Complete all the information requested and submit. We will do our best to action this as quickly as possible.

I've added something to my basket, but my basket is still empty. Why?

Our basket and checkout system requires Cookies to be enabled in your browser. What are Cookies you may ask?

When you click from one page to another on the Yuppie Gadgets website, it needs to keep track of you. So you have added something to your cart and then click to another page, we must remember that the item is in your cart. The Yuppie Gadgets website tells your web browser to store a small bit of information to track your shopping progress, and this is called a "cookie".

Some people do this out of privacy concerns because they don't want the websites they are visiting to know that they also visited the day before. This however means that the website they are visiting can't remember that you logged in, or that you added something to your cart.

Do you offer a gift-wrapping service?

We do not offer a gift-wrapping service at the moment however all orders are packaged lovingly in one of our bespoke branded boxes.

We will never sell, misuse or share your personal details with any third party without your express written permission and knowledge. We also undertake to protect this information with world-class digital security to prevent any malicious intent by hackers and the like. This protection extends to the use of your credit card details which are never stored beyond the point of payment.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been shipped. You can then log into your account and click the Track button which will then allow you to track you order in real time.

Do you deliver over weekends?

At present we only deliver on weekdays but we will be offering deliveries on Saturdays for Cape Town orders soon.
